EMIG membership determines the policy of the group and this is delivered by a Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Steering Group.

Chairman, Leslie Galloway

Leslie was appointed EMIG Chairman in 2005 and has been instrumental in the growth of EMIG from a networking group to the influential trade association it is today.

He built a successful career over 30 years in senior management roles in both the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and now brings that extensive experience to his EMIG role.

Leslie's background in both large and small pharma companies provides perspective on the practical impact on business of commercial and regulation changes.

Vice Chairman, Abid Karim

Abid was appointed Vice Chairman of EMIG in 2005 and along with Leslie Galloway has played a significant role in fundamentally developing EMIG as a trade association.

He has extensive experience of the pharmaceutical industry and currently acts as the Global Head of Commercial Operations for ProStrakan.
